More feedback than Blogger

The owner and administrator of Night City[1] emailed me about asking to add my site's atom feed to their aggrigate list. First off I was unaware I had an atom feed, which surprised me since I genuinely forgot flounder had that as an option. Second off this marks the point where I have gotten more feedback from my gemini capsule than not just my blogger, but through my entire web presence that wasn't spam. Night City wasn't the first to contact me, they just marked that tipping point where 'oh hey it's kindof an official thing now.'

All this is something I find uttelry hilarious given I've made no attempts at putting my site out there to be searched/indexed/whatever, and Blogger was Google backed yet I still got less feedback in the years of operating that thing than I have gotten here in a handful of months.

Don't get me wrong, the lookieloos will dry up, but at the same time it's nice to see that even if in the grand scheme I'm not of any importance, me tinkering does yield results.

The biggest downside is that as far as I can tell the atom feed only covers my /gemlog directory, which is a potential issue as my site isn't entirely a gemlog, and even there the new posts show up in subdirectories. So... Hey if anyone's seeing this post thanks to atom feed mind sending me an email with the subject heading 'Banana'?
